About Allie
20+ Years of Yoga. A Lifetime of Learning.
Certified yoga instructor, lifelong student, and devoted guide to bodies of every kind.
How It All Started
Allie Bourgeois found yoga in 2008 — and never looked back. What began as a personal practice quickly became a calling. She saw how yoga could meet people exactly where they were: in pain, in grief, in recovery, in joy. She wanted to be the teacher who made that possible for everyone.
Over the next two decades, Allie pursued training after training — not to collect credentials, but because each one opened a new door. Restorative Yin in 2012. Yoga for Pain in 2014. Trauma-Informed Practice in 2023. Adaptive Yoga for Hypermobility and EDS in 2024. Each certification deepened her ability to serve students that other instructors couldn't.
Today, Allie teaches from her Buckhead studio and via Zoom — reaching students across Atlanta and around the world. Her classes are known for their warmth, their precision, and the rare feeling that someone truly sees you.

Beyond the Studio
The Senses Collective
In addition to her teaching practice, Allie co-founded The Senses Collective with her partner Mindy — a women's wellness retreat company rooted in sensory experience, slow movement, and deep rest.
Their retreats bring small groups of women to mountain settings for four days of yoga, forest immersion, plant-based meals, and restorative evening sessions. The next retreat, Ground and Glow, takes place September 16–19, 2027.
